Team Managers to join Croydon’s social work service for children looked after and care leavers

We are looking for experienced team managers who have a commitment to delivering excellent social work services for children looked after.
You will experienced and capable of working in an operational manager role with a particular skill to manage social work staff.
With working knowledge of best practice, national policy, strategy and developments regarding children’s social care, you will be able to demonstrate your social work management practice.
You will allocate children’s cases, shape and influence safe practice, demonstrating confident analysis and decision making, ensuring practitioners receive reflective, challenging and explorative supervision to enable informed decision-making for children and young people, leading a team to meet statutory requirements and ensure that children looked after achieve more in all areas
Your compassion and drive will enable you to effectively build and maintain relationships with children, young people, their parents and carers and be an effective leader in the multi – agency team around the child looked after, supporting positive change.

With a salary up £52,482 per annum and a welcome of £4,000 (paid at 6 months, we also offer a financial retention incentive to Team Managers), In addition, we can offer a development & learning programme to support your management and leadership skills.
